IK Gymnastics – Policies & Rules

The following policies are in place to ensure a safe, organized, and positive training environment for all athletes, families, and staff. Enrollment and participation in any IK Gymnastics program constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these policies.

Seasons

Regular Season

  • Runs from September through mid-June

  • Students may join on a rolling, month-to-month basis

  • Winter Camps are typically offered in mid-December

Summer Season

  • Runs from June through August

  • Students may enroll for the first half, second half, or both halves of the summer

  • Summer Camps are offered from mid-June through late August

  • Summer enrollment is separate from the Regular Season

Enrollment Policies

New Families

New families may register for any available class and begin immediately once tuition and the Annual Registration Fee are paid in full at the time of registration. This includes same-day enrollment or future start dates. Tuition will be pro-rated as applicable to align with the start date.

The Annual Registration Fee is not required for camp-only participants.

Current Families

Families actively enrolled in classes, or those still covered under the Annual Registration Fee, are considered Current Families. Current Families receive priority enrollment before the start of the Summer Season and the Regular Season on a first-come, first-served basis.

Active enrollment status is required to participate in classes at IK Gymnastics.

Waitlist Policy

If a class is full, students may be added to a waitlist, with a limit of two waitlists per student. Placement on a waitlist does not guarantee enrollment and is dependent on availability and the order in which students were added.

When a space becomes available, families will be notified and given 24 hours to accept or decline the opening. Accounts must be in good standing to accept a waitlist spot. Tuition and registration fees are charged only upon active enrollment.

Tuition & Fees

Annual Registration Fee
All class participants are required to pay a non-refundable Annual Registration Fee of:

  • $120 per student, or

  • $150 per family for two or more children

This fee is due upon initial registration and once per year thereafter.

Tuition Calculation

Regular Season classes are billed on a monthly cycle. Monthly tuition is based on the number of times the class meets during that month.

Example:
If a one-hour class meets five times in a month at $34 per class, the total monthly tuition would be $170.

Discounts

  • 20% Multiple Class Discount for a single student enrolled in multiple weekly classes (applied to the lesser tuition)

  • 10% Sibling Discount

A valid credit card is required for all registrations. Placement in class is not guaranteed until payment is received.

  • Make-ups are based on availability and are not guaranteed

  • Excessive make-up requests may be denied

  • No tuition will be prorated for missed classes

Advance notice of absences is required as a courtesy to other families who may be waiting for openings.

Skill Assessment & Level Advancement

Level-Up System

IK Gymnastics uses a structured level-up system based on defined skill criteria. Advancement requires consistent, safe, and reliable performance of required skills.

Evaluations

Ongoing assessments are conducted by coaches during regular classes. Whole-class evaluations typically occur in November, February, and July.

Advancement Notification

When a student demonstrates readiness to advance, the front desk will notify families. If no notification is received, families may inquire at the front desk after evaluation periods.

Additional Information

Due to scheduling constraints, coaches are unavailable for extended discussions between classes. Families may request further information by emailing info@ikgym.com. Individual evaluations outside the established assessment process are not available.

For additional rules or policies not listed here, please contact the front desk for more information.
