Qualifications and Expectations:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong knowledge of gymnastics skills and proper technique
Positive, energetic coaching style with a commitment to excellence
Ability to provide safe and effective spotting
Strong communication skills with students, parents, and coworkers
Experience working with children
Organized, dependable, and a positive role model for athletes
Reliable team player with a professional attitude

Assistant & Learning Opportunities

In addition to coaching positions, IK Gymnastics regularly welcomes assistants to support classes, camps, and daily gym operations. These roles provide an opportunity to learn alongside experienced staff while gaining hands-on experience in a structured and professional training environment.

Students under the age of 18 are welcome to apply. Applicants who are minors must obtain a valid work permit or school authorization, as required by Illinois law, and are still subject to background check requirements. These positions are well suited for individuals who are motivated, responsible, and interested in learning more about coaching, child development, and gymnastics instruction.
