What to Expect

Our Trampoline Team is a competitive, high-commitment program designed for athletes who demonstrate strong body control, air awareness, and readiness for advanced trampoline training. This program follows a structured training model that emphasizes technical development, consistency, discipline, and safe progression of skills.

Athletes train with increased expectations for focus, attendance, and effort, and participate in competitions under an organized competitive framework. Selection for the Trampoline Team is based on skill readiness, coach evaluation, and the athlete’s ability to meet the physical and mental demands of a competitive training environment. While recreational trampoline classes build foundational skills, the Trampoline Team is intended for athletes pursuing a more serious and performance-oriented pathway within the sport.

Trampoline Team Placement

The Trampoline Team is a competitive, high-commitment program and participation is by invitation only. Team placement is determined internally and is offered when an athlete demonstrates the skill readiness, consistency, focus, and maturity required for competitive trampoline and when appropriate space is available.

IK Gymnastics offers both recreational and competitive trampoline pathways. Recreational Trampoline classes are designed to build strong fundamentals and prepare athletes for future opportunities; however, participation in Recreational Trampoline does not automatically result in an invitation to the Trampoline Team. Competitive team participation requires a significantly higher level of commitment from both the athlete and family.

Due to limited space and the structured nature of the program, families are contacted by IK Gymnastics only when an athlete is ready to be considered for Trampoline Team placement. To maintain consistency and protect coaching bandwidth, team inquiries are not handled through general email requests.
