Girls Artistic Gymnastics Team (USAG - Development Program)
A high-commitment competitive program built on strong fundamentals and consistent training. Designed to support long-term athlete development and collegiate opportunities in a positive environment.

What to Expect
Athletes in the USAG Developmental Program train 4–6 days per week, depending on level, in one of IK Gymnastics’ most demanding training environments. This program emphasizes strong fundamentals, technical precision, physical preparation, and mental discipline, with expectations that increase steadily as athletes progress.

While training is rigorous, IK Gymnastics’ goal is not elite gymnastics, but to prepare athletes for long-term success in the sport, including the opportunity to continue gymnastics at the collegiate level. Coaching is direct, supportive, and detail-oriented, helping athletes build consistency, resilience, and confidence in a positive environment that prioritizes athlete well-being alongside performance.
Team Placement
The Girls USAG Developmental Program is a competitive, high-commitment program and participation is by invitation only. Team placement is determined internally and is offered when an athlete demonstrates the appropriate skill readiness, consistency, focus, maturity, and ability to meet the technical and physical demands of a developmental competitive training environment, and when space is available.
IK Gymnastics offers structured recreational and developmental programs designed to build strong fundamentals and prepare athletes for future opportunities. Participation in Girls Recreational Gymnastics does not automatically result in an invitation to the USAG Developmental Program. This program requires a significant increase in training hours, expectations, and long-term commitment from both the athlete and family.
Due to limited team space and the structured nature of the program, families are contacted by IK Gymnastics only when an athlete is ready to be considered for the USAG Developmental Program. To maintain consistency and protect coaching bandwidth, team inquiries are not handled through general email requests.
